How people make money in Mexico

So we got off the boat, and it is POURING down rain when we reached Cozumel. Everyone is hiding in their shelters, the shops are closing,

and some guy says, "Hey, do you want a picture with my bird, It will eat out of your mouth." Then when we were finished he told us that it would cost us $6 dollars.

We looked at each other like what the heck. But six bucks for us to look like dorks was totally worth it in the end.

We went snorkeling in the Carribean Sea. It was pretty cool, but we didn't really see anything, like sharks or eels. Oh-well it was still fun.

?Donde Esta la playa?

Ahhh...Paradise. Mike and I went to Riviera Maya/Yucatan Peninsula in September, It was so nice to be back in paradise. It is so lush and green everywhere, the beaches are always in season, the weather superb!

Here we are on La Isla Mujeres, just soaking up the sun, we love the Carribean waters, so crystal clear and beautiful... On this beach you can walk for about 1/4 mile out into the ocean. The water is the perfect temperature for a hot day, but also warm enough to swim on a rainy afternoon.

This is on the ferry to La Isla Mujeres.

I love the gardens in Mexico, they are always full of so many colors, and not with the boring plants that we have in Utah.

Who wouldn't call this place paradise?

Marcus' Baptism

My tough guys...Just before the baptism.

This is a picture of Justin thoroughly enjoying the cookies that the Relief Society provided. Yeah...Thanks for the cookies.

Here are the missionaries that came over to talk to Talia before she gets baptized Nov. 4. Do you see who they are with??? Not Talia, of course ;-)

Not so tough now, are you?

And all of his family together. The room for his baptism had standing room only. It was amazing-Such a strong spirit that night. CONGRATULATIONS, MARCUS!

Ice Skating!

We went ice skating at 7 Peaks Ice Rink with Grandpa Bill, and GiGi! It was so much fun...it was Talia's first time on the ice. She was pretty slow at first, but she really got the hang of it!

Justin liked "Skating" with Mike and I, though we were tired MUCH sooner than he was.

He had to share his sucker with me. He wouldn't let me tell him no!
